Accessibility Statement

As a web designer, it is important to me that my website is accessible to everyone. I am committed to making my website accessible in accordance with national regulations implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament.

Status of compliance with requirements

My website is largely compliant with the Ordinance on the Creation of Accessible Information Technology in accordance with the Disability Equality Act.

Accessibility measures already implemented

It is important to me that you can use my website optimally. That’s why I have already implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Accessibility toolbar with various customization options
  • Accessibility profiles for different needs (visually impaired mode, ADHD-friendly mode, etc.)
  • Multilingualism including “Easy Language” option
  • Color contrast adjustments and font size options
  • Keyboard navigation and focus indicators
  • Skip links to the main content

Content that is not fully accessible

Frankly, not everything is perfect yet. I have not yet made the content listed below fully accessible for the following reasons:

Areas I would still like to improve

  • Portfolio images: Some of my project screenshots do not yet have fully meaningful alternative texts
  • Lazy Loading Images: My placeholder images cannot be optimally interpreted by screen readers
  • Animations: Some of my visual effects and transitions are not yet fully controllable
  • Contact form: My contact form could still be optimized in the error message

Areas that are difficult to implement

  • External portfolio websites: I cannot subsequently make screenshots of customer projects accessible
  • Older documents: I have not yet made some linked PDF documents fully accessible

Creation of this accessibility statement

I created this statement on January 21, 2026 and last reviewed it.

I created the statement on the basis of a self-assessment, taking into account the accessibility tools already implemented.
